Cappuccino Grande Cafe in Vancouver Island

I love there food. Homemade padtries, salads, fresh sandwiches on croissants or buns. Awesome goulash soup plus more. Great coffee

Phenomenal service and incredible food. My family and I stumbled across this husband-and-wife-run establishment by chance while in town running errands today and it completely turned our day around! Easy going and relaxed vibe and all of us (the kids included) absolutley loved the food! Amazing soups and house made breads. Definitely going back!

I have nothing good to say about this place . I went in yesterday to ask a few questions as I wasn't from the area , I asked the lady if there was a washroom to use . She proceeded to tell me only if I was a customer. So I thought well maybe I'll look at the sandwiches, and buy something . I asked her if they could warm up the sandwiches and she told me that they were fresh and warming it up would wreck it . So at this point I'm just kind of standing there debating leaving and she points out my empty coffee cup in my bag and tells me that maybe if I go back to the place I got that coffee , they might let me use the bathroom. She rolled her eyes and walked to the back so I left . This place is not tourist friendly whatsoever . There is even a rule there that you cannot use cellphones while being there . I was disgusted .

Consistently fresh, excellent quality, pride of ownership and genuinely nice and friendly service. This is a go to every time I go out to Courtenay. Don't miss it for their incredibly fresh lunches and some of the best desserts I've ever had, all hand made in-store

Unfriendly service over priced... I got soup to go... 2min drive away I find the wrong soup it was cold and had no spoon in my bag!

A great little Austrian stop gap for coffee, delicious sandwich (mine was ham and cheese), yummy goulash soup and/or dessert to share. Very friendly couple own this gem.

Best Schnitzel in town...check their website for their Saturday specials....have been here 4 times now...each time with a different side dish.

Fantastic food and friendly service.

Both owners were very rude and confrontational towards me when I picked up an emergency family call on my cell phone. It was totally unnecessary to speak to me in the manner in which they did. Will NOT be returning.

Above and beyond customer service!!!!! The pastry are top notch and the lattes are smooth as heck!

How can you not love a cafe that has great coffee, great food, and great deserts? Owners are super nice. Even had the right sized fork for sharing one of their scrumptious deserts with my better half ;>)
